New Protocols:                        

  • We will call you the day before your appointment to pre-screen for certain symptoms associated with COVID-19. If you are exhibiting any of the common symptoms, we will reschedule your appointment and recommend that you consult your medical doctor.
  • When you arrive, face masks will be required for entry to the clinic. We cannot supply them due to limited availability, so please ensure you bring your own.
  • At entry, we will check your temperature, and have you apply hand sanitizer before being escorted to the treatment room. If you are presenting with any symptoms on arrival, you may be turned away, so please feel free to discuss your condition with us by phone before coming. We can schedule a telehealth session to provide remote care if warranted.
  • We are limiting treatment to one patient at a time, and rotating treatment rooms between patients. Access to the clinic is limited to staff and patients in session - no casual walk-ins, and no one using the waiting room.
  • Prior to your first appointment, we will send you a new Informed Consent form specific to COVID-19, and request that you complete it prior to arrival. This is required by our malpractice insurance company, and must be completed before treatment.
  • Sanitizing the office using EPA-approved disinfectants between each appointment will include high touch areas, individual treatment rooms and tables. Hand sanitizer and tissues will be available in all treatment areas.
  • We will not be accepting cash or checks for payment. Please ensure we have a credit card on file for you. Should you need to change the card on file, please call us with the new information before your appointment.
  • We have modified our cancellation policy to offer greater flexibility to all our patients. If you need to reschedule for whatever reason, and especially if you are not feeling well, we understand and request that you contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. To further support you, there will be no penalties for cancellations at this time.
  • For new patients, we will conduct the health history intake via video consultation and will then book your first acupuncture appointment. Please call our office for more information.
  • Also, for those of you who have enjoyed and benefited from our range of herbal and essential oil products, please note that we will be selling these online through our affiliated website, www.amica-life.com. However, if you wish to purchase a product at the time of your treatment, please let us know when you arrive, so we can prepare it by the time you leave.
